Richland Hills Reports First Foal for Purim

MIDWAY, KY, FEBRUARY 26, 2009 - The first foal by multiple graded stakes winner Purim was born on January 29 at Richland Hills in Midway, Kentucky. The chestnut filly is out of the stakes winning Flying Chevron mare Flying Gal.

Purim, who stands at Richland Hills for a $10,000 fee, is the only Grade 1 winning son of Dynaformer at stud in Kentucky.

"Purim's first foals are outstanding," said Richland Hills president Nathan Fox. "They all have good bone and appear to be very athletic. I could not be more pleased with the way that they look and how much they resemble their sire."

Purim is a son of stallion legend Dynaformer out of the Lord at War mare Kirsteena. He stands as the property of a syndicate, and is a six-time stakes winner of over $900,000 on dirt and turf, including the Shadwell Mile(G1), Razorback Breeders' Cup(G3) and Arlington Classic(G3).
