11-25-08 Update:
- FYI The sire of the winner of Saturday's Old Hickory S. for 2yo's was a horse named RUN PRODUCTION, a full brother to STAR DABBLER that stands at Foxwood Plantation in Louisiana. This was a LA-bred colt beating open company that included the winners of the Bashford Manner S. at Churchill Downs and the NATC Futurity at Monmouth. This in addition to the success that SPEIGHTSTOWN has experienced is a very good indicator of STAR DABBLER's future success and the sire-producing potential of his female family.

Star Dabbler filly sells for $100,000 at Keeneland
- At the November 3 breeding stock sale at Keeneland, a yearling filly by Richland Hills Stallion Star Dabbler, out of Regal Victress, was purchased by leading bloodstock agent Buzz Chace for $100,000.
Buzz Chace commented on Star Dabbler as a sire: "Star Dabbler is an outstanding sire that comes from a family of runners. Star Dabbler ran against the best, and he beat many of the best. In the breeding industry, he has a very good reputation as a sire and a lot of people have an upbeat opinion about him. He is a big bargain at the price he is standing at."

9-2-08 Update:
- In Labor Day Monday's (G1) Del Mar Debutante, STARDOM BOUND, a 2-year-old filly from the first crop sired by TAPIT came from 12 lengths back to draw off and win the premier juvenile filly race of the meet with relative ease. Already graded stakes-placed, this big, impressive gray filly accomplished a rare feat in that this win was also the first of her career. Very few horses break their maidens in G1 stakes races. This fact, plus the manner in which she accomplished it, should make STARDOM BOUND the odds-on early favorite for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Filly Stakes (G1) at Santa Anita in October.
Her sire TAPIT (has sired 9 winners already in his young stallion career) is by PULPIT which is also the sire of Richland Hills Farm's newest stallion SIGHTSEEING.
Here is another connection Richland Hills Farm has to the red hot STARDOM BOUND: Richland Hills will be offering a yearling filly by TAPIT out of the farm's foundation broodmare and multiple stakes producer FLEW BY EM. This yearling is a beautiful gray filly that resembles STARDOM BOUND in both appearance and size. Click here to see this exciting offering.

Grade 2 Winner Sightseeing Retires To Richland Hills
-
Midway, KY...Sightseeing, winner of the 2007 Peter Pan Stakes(G2), has been retired from racing and will enter stud at Richland Hills near Midway, Kentucky in 2009. Raced by the Phipps Stable of breeder Ogden Mills Phipps, the four-year-old is a son of Pulpit, out of the Pleasant Colony mare Resort.
“Sightseeing went toe-to-toe with top three-year-olds belonging to one of the best crops in recent memory,” said Richland Hills Farm president Nathan Fox. “He is a very impressive individual who has great stamina and soundness, and together with his great pedigree is one of the most exciting stallion prospects for 2009. We are thrilled to welcome him to our roster”
Sightseeing, under the tutelage of trainer Claude R. “Shug” McGaughey, broke his maiden as a two-year-old going one mile and one-sixteenth at Belmont Park and ran second in the Nashua Stakes(G3).
